Chef Salvatore's Biography
Chef Peter Salvatore has spent over three decades delivering Italian cuisine to American Patrons.
A native of Italy where he attended culinary school in Pescara and crafted his talent, Salvatore moved to the United States in 1977 and began serving up his flair for traditional Italian dishes to long Island, New York diners.
Ten years later he headed to Southwest Florida. Salvatore soon set out on his own with Capriccio's and Mangia Bene's authentic Italian cuisine in a family-friendly, Casual dining atmosphere at five different area locations.
Salvatore Welcomes the task of putting together the perfect menu, "You're always challenging yourself," he says.
