“TURDUCKLET” Debuts On THE WEEKEND TODAY SHOW

Alpine Steakhouse’s smaller version of the famous TURDUCKEN appropriately named as the “TURDUCKLET” will be making it’s first requested debut featured on the WEEKEND TODAY SHOW (In the very near future!) with Guy Fieri the host of Diner’s, Drive-In’s, and Dive’s on The Food Network.

As Guy was exchanging his personal cellular phone number with Matt and Mark Rebhan from Alpine Steakhouse requesting the recipe so he could prepare his own TURDUCKEN on Thanksgiving, they also received the phone call from the NBC Prop Department at Rockefeller Plaza, on the day before Thanksgiving requesting 2 TURDUCKLET’s be shipped overnight for a cooking demonstration.

A TURDUCKEN (20-25lbs) / TURDUCKLET (15-17lbs) is a freshly prepared boneless turkey, stuffed inside with a boneless DUCK and CHICKEN layered between cornbread stuffing with roasted red pepper, andouille sausage, spinach and Cajun Spices.

Alpine Steakhouse shipped THE BIG BIRD’S as far as California and New Hampshire for The Thanksgiving Holiday since first aired on The Food Network on November 10th.

TURDUCKEN can be ordered on line at www.AlpineSteak.com or by phone 941-922-3797.

Alpine Steakhouse has been in business over 30 years, a “one-stop shop with an old fashioned Meat Market (with experienced butchers) and a 70 seat Steakhouse all under one roof”. It is located at 4520 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota---one block north of Proctor Road at traffic light of Field Road and US 41.
